Austin Pet Post was built to create that moment, month after month, and to make sure the shelters themselves are supported in the process. We help animals in need from two fronts, we both spread their stories throughout the community and also donate half our profits to shelters to fund their care.

Yes, that's the whole point. Every month we work directly with a local Austin shelter to feature two real animals who need homes. Their actual photos, names, ages, and personalities are printed right on the postcard, along with how to contact the shelter to start the adoption process.
Each month, we calculate total profit: total revenue minus our costs for printing, materials, packaging, and shipping. 50% of that profit goes directly to the shelter we featured that month. We're committed to publishing monthly donation reports so you can see exactly what was donated and to whom.
We ship once per month, typically during the first week. Subscriptions are processed on a monthly cutoff of the 21st — subscribe by the 21st and you'll be included in the following month's mailing. Subscribe after the 21st and your first envelope ships the month after that. You'll get an email notification when yours is on the way.
We partner with Austin-area animal shelters and rescue organizations on a rotating monthly basis. We'll announce each month's featured shelter on our Instagram page and include a write-up about them in your envelope. If you have a shelter you'd love to see featured, send us a note; we'd love to hear from you.
Absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time — no phone calls, no waiting, no questions asked. Use the Manage Subscription link in your Stripe receipt email, or email us at support@austinpetpost.com and we'll take care of it right away. If you cancel before your next billing date, you won't be charged for the following month.
